The Knights of Columbus support a culture of life. As part of our Faith in Action efforts,
the Sacred Heart Knights recently donated $1000 to the Pregnancy Center of the Upper Valley
to provide support to those seeking help and care during pregnancy.
With hopes for a white Christmas, the Sacred Heart Knights helped Father Charles prepare and run the annual parish
Christmas fundraiser. This event not only allows the community
to purchase fresh cut trees to support Sacred Heart Parish, but also
the opportunity for us to gather together outdoors to enjoy the warmth of a fire, the delight of hot
cocoa and golden hash browns, and the fellowship of one another.
At a time when it's harder than ever for some to put food on the table, the Sacred Heart Community Thanksgiving dinner
delivered over 1500 meals to our friends and neighbors throughout the Upper Valley with the help of the Sacred Heart Knights and leadership of Len Angelli.
Thanks to all who volunteered their
time or made a donation to help make this year's dinner another successful and worthwhile event!
Wow these guys know how to throw a party for the whole family! Immediately following 4:00pm mass on Saturday, October 22,
the Sacred Heart Knights hosted our annual

Our Knights were again in charge of the grill and the fryolator at the annual Sacred Heart Church Fall Festival.
Grilled BBQ chicken and fried dough were highlights on the menu. What a delightful feast!

Wow! 😳 On a Friday when we weren't required to abstain from meat (due to the Solemnity of the Annunciation of the Lord), we had our biggest Fish Fry turnout of the Lenten season!

Sacred Heart Church hosted the "pilgrim icon" of Saint Joseph under the auspices of the Sacred Heart Knights of Columbus.
Every few years, the Knights of Columbus selects an icon of a saint whose patronage is particularly inspiring to Knights and their communities to be featured in the Pilgrim Icon program.
The icons travel from council to council and serve as the centerpieces for prayer services in parishes throughout the Order.
The icon of St. Joseph traveled to us from St. Denis Parish in Hanover, before moving on to St. Mary's in Canaan.
Saint Joseph, protector of families, pray for us!
Who's in charge of the menu? The Sacred Heart Knights! Fried fish, baked fish, french fries, cole slaw, mac and cheese, baked beans, salad, desserts, drinks and more 😲
Thanks to all of our parishioners who stopped by after the Stations of the Cross to enjoy a sit down dinner with friends in the Church hall, or to enjoy takeout at home!
And special thanks to those parishioners who bring a dish to share--we couldn't do it without you!
What's new? Baked fish! 🐟
In addition to our traditional deep fried fish, this week we introduced a baked fish option for those seeking a lighter fare--or for those who want to save room for more french fries! 🍟
Let us know what you think!?!? 🤔
Thanks to all of our parishioners who stopped by after the Stations of the Cross to share a meal with old and new friends, or to enjoy takeout at home!
